The University of Nebraska–Lincoln reported 41 positive cases of COVID-19 during the most current seven-day period (Jan. 7-13).
During that same span, 556 tests were conducted on students, faculty and staff. Tests are conducted (by appointment only) on campus at the TestNebraska facility in the 17th and R Streets parking garage, the University Health Center and the random mitigation testing station in the East Stadium loop, as well as at off-campus medical facilities. The positivity rate during the week was 7.4%.
Since university-specific testing began on Aug. 12, 2,170 total cases have been recorded out of 24,103 tests, for a positivity rate of 9%.
