More than 900 University of Nebraska–Lincoln students volunteered for the Big Event on April 23, completing service projects across the community.

Now in its 22nd year at Nebraska, the Big Event has grown to be the university’s single largest student-run community service project. The 2022 event, which included more than 45 private residences, five parks and 15 nonprofit sites worked by the volunteers, was organized by 10 student leaders.
