UNL’s annual MEDICI art exhibition will be on display Feb. 19-26 at the Eisentrager•Howard Gallery in Richards Hall.
The MEDICI friends group supports the art and art history program within UNL’s Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts. Since its inception 22 years ago, MEDICI has raised more than $200,000 for the department. The funds have been used to bring visiting scholars to campus and to purchase equipment like kilns, presses and papermaking equipment used in UNL courses.
Participating artists in the 2015 exhibition include Dan Howard, Susan Puelz, Fred Hagstrom, Ann O’Hara, Margaret Bohls, Mark Cole, Darrell Sano, Mary Zicafoose, T.J. Edwards, Neil Christensen, Bill Ganzel, Paul Brokering, Kristin Pluhacek, Tom Prinz, Therman Statom, Judith Andre, Brad Krieger and Ray Tadduci.
The exhibit culminates in an annual fundraiser on Feb. 26. The event is ticketed, with admission ranging from $50 to $900.
The $50 general admission ticket admits a person to the event, along with access to food and drink. The additional supporter ticket at $300, the investor ticket at $600 and the patron ticket at $900 allow patrons to either purchase a piece of art of their choice or be given a piece of art through a random drawing.

Gallery hours for the exhibition are 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Admission to the gallery is free and open to the public.
