The Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center is hosting the "Dream Lives On: A MLK Legacy Speech Competition" to celebrate Black History Month and honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The competition invites University of Nebraska–Lincoln students to deliver speeches on a variety of social issues, providing a platform for young voices to be heard while honing public speaking skills. This event aims to inspire the next generation of leaders and spark meaningful dialogue on important topics.

Students interested in participating can register and learn more here. The application deadline is Feb. 17.
