Bike UNL will host its annual event, BikeFest, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 25 on the Nebraska Union Plaza. The event is free and open to the public.
BikeFest seeks to bring together a variety of community bike supporters to raise awareness about bicycle resources and amenities on campus and around the city of Lincoln. The event also highlights the university’s ongoing efforts to promote biking as a safe, practical and economical form of transportation. Local vendors, education and safety demonstrations, games, prizes and entertainment will be showcased.
Event activities will include:

- Free bike bells from Bike UNL
- Bike lock demos
- Bike safety checks by University of Nebraska–Lincoln Outdoor Adventures Bike Shop

- Fit your helmet by Cycle Works
