The Glenn Korff School of Music’s Brass Quintet will perform a recital at 7:30 p.m. March 25 in Kimball Recital Hall.
The recital will feature a variety of classic brass works by Victor Ewald, a Russian musician from the romantic era. Closing the program will be Leonard Bernstein’s West Side Story Suite arranged by Jack Gale.
The quintet is composed of faculty members Craig Fuller, tuba; Alan Mattingly, horn; Scott Anderson, trombone; K. Craig Bircher, trumpet; and Scott Quackenbush, trumpet. Joining the quintet this semester are graduate students Ian Rutherford, trombone, and Jordan Redd, horn.
The performance is free and open to the public and will also be streamed live on the Glenn Korff School of Music website.
