Building a supportive workplace is focus of EAP presentation

A national collaboration to expand how universities approach technology, engineering and mathematics instruction is the focus of a 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 29 presentation offered via Zoom.

The Employee Assistance Program’s Professional Development Group will explore what it takes to create a workplace that feels mutually trusting, supports positive colleague connections and meaningful contributions. The session, which is noon to 1 p.m. April 21, will feature the work of John and Julie Gottmans and their seven principles for a sound relationship house (adapted for the workplace).
