The University of Nebraska–Lincoln is bringing together administrators and students to discuss important campus issues.

The “Listening Tour: Campus Conversations with Students” series begins with 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. open forums on Feb. 8 and 9. Discussion topics include campus climate, free speech, student wellbeing and safety.

The sessions are in the Kauffman Residential Center Great Hall on Feb. 8 and in the Nebraska Union Colonial Room on Feb. 9.

Questions will be answered by Donde Plowman, executive vice chancellor and chief academic officer; Laurie Bellows, interim vice chancellor for student affairs; Charlie Foster, director of the Gaughan Multicultural Center and assistant vice chancellor for student affairs; and Joe Zach, president of the Association of Students of the University of Nebraska.

These open forums are the first in an ongoing series of campus conversations connecting administrators directly with students. Additional dates and locations for the listening tour will be announced.
