Campus parking permits good across NU system

Parking

Reciprocal parking is available for University of Nebraska campuses. University of Nebraska–Lincoln parking permits are accepted on other campuses within the University of Nebraska system and Nebraska Innovation Campus. There is no additional cost, but there are extra steps to follow.

With the virtual permit system utilizing license plate recognition, to park on the University of Nebraska at Omaha and Nebraska Innovation campuses, UNL permit holders must notify Parking and Transit Services and request a reciprocal permit from those campuses. Permit holders will be notified by the respective campus when their reciprocal permit has been processed. Send the requests from your official UNL email accounts to unlpts@unl.edu.

Access remains for the effective period of the UNL permit.

UNL permit holders must request and display a reciprocal hangtag that specifies a valid UNL permit for parking at University of Nebraska Medical Center and University of Nebraska at Kearney campuses. The hangtag verifies license plate recognition participation.

Permit holders should contact Parking and Transit Services at unlpts@unl.edu from their UNL email accounts or come to the office at 625 Stadium Drive to receive a reciprocal permit. Details on reciprocal parking are available online.
