Nebraska’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources will host CASNR Week, an event celebrating the college’s students, faculty, staff and alumni, March 4 through 8.
The weeklong celebration, now in its 19th year, will feature a blood drive, a community night for local elementary schools and an ice cream social.
A donation drive for Huskers Helping Huskers Pantry+ will also be held throughout the week. Several donations bins will be available in the college’s various departments, and the program that collects the most items will have a brick laid in the Alumni Brick Garden on East Campus.
“2019 is a big year with the university celebrating its 150th, and CASNR is a big part of that rich history,” said Mirissa Scholting, a senior agricultural education major from Louisville who sits on the CASNR Week Program Council. “To honor this special community, we have a lot of great events planned and changes to CASNR Week this year.”
