The universitywide Celebration of Service, honoring nearly 1,000 faculty and staff, will be Nov. 18.
“Every success of our university is achieved because of the talent of our people,” Chancellor Ronnie Green said. “It has been our tradition and privilege each fall to celebrate your talent and dedication by highlighting the hundreds of faculty and staff marking important milestones in service.”
The Celebration of Service will feature an open house and lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Coliseum. Honored employees can pick up their service awards, and an all-star photography booth will be available. Access to the Coliseum will be through doors on the south side of the building, and parking for campus permit holders will be available in the 14th and Avery garage.
The lunch will be provided for all employees, but organizers are requesting that those planning to attend RSVP so that resources can be best utilized.
