The Office of Academic Success and Intercultural Services is offering a week-long celebration for the 15th anniversary of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center.

The Gaughan Center continues the tradition of the university’s previous culture centers, providing a home away from home for students while welcoming all Huskers and visitors. It also offers a variety of resources, supports and activities.

Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center Week is April 21-25. Events celebrating the anniversary include:

  • April 21 | Cuts N’ Convos (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.) — A space where all are welcome to engage in candid conversations while enjoying refreshments and competitive games. Haircuts available, but not required.
  • April 22 | Dish It Up (noon to 1 p.m.) — A special edition featuring past and present Gaughan Center staff reflecting on their experiences and impact.
  • April 22 | Gaughan Center Hall of Fame (6 to 7:30 p.m.) — A celebration honoring outstanding alumni who have made a lasting mark on the university and community.
