Chancellor accepts final APC recommendations for phase two budget reduction plan

Based on recommendations made by the Academic Planning Committee, Chancellor Ronnie Green has approved the remaining $1.2 million in phase two budget reduction proposals.

The reductions are from the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources and the College of Education Human Sciences. They replace previous reduction proposals which were not implemented.

This action completes the process to address an expected $38.2 million budget shortfall in state-aided funding through 2023.

Green thanked the Academic Planning Committee for its hard work and dedication to preserving the university’s core missions through the budget reduction process.
