The 16th and S streets intersection on City Campus will close starting July 9 as part of a paving, safety and ADA improvement project.

The project will include a full closure of the intersection — including sidewalks, pedestrian ramps and a bike lane — through approximately Aug. 6. Closure signage will be located on 16th Street at intersections with R and Vine streets. No traffic will be allowed through the intersection during the work.

Local traffic will have limited access to campus buildings in the area.

Sidewalk closure signs will be placed near 17th and S streets (near Cather Dining Hall and Knoll Residential Center) and near 15th and S streets (by Gaughan Multicultural Center, Selleck Hall and Nebraska Union).
