The UNL Clay Club will hold its winter clay sale from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Dec. 11 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 12 in Richards Hall, Room 118.
Featured in the sale will be the work from students in the Department of Art and Art History’s clay club. Also, the bi-annual event will include a raffle of faculty works. Raffle tickets will be sold during the two-day event. Participants need not be present to win.
Proceeds from the UNL Clay Sale will help to fund visiting artists for the program. These visiting artists offer in-class demonstrations, public lectures and critical feedback to students regarding their work. Additionally, the funds will aid club members in attending the National Council for Education on Ceramic Arts, a yearly conference where students are able to engage with both mentors and peers in their field — as well as attend educational seminars that feature cutting edge techniques, materials and ideas.
