The Concordia String Trio will present a recital at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 18 in Westbrook Recital Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
The recital will feature works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Irving Fine, Andrew List and George Enescu. Composed of musicians Marcia Henry, Leslie Perna and Karen Becker, professor of cello in the Glenn Korff School of Music, the trio is known for juxtaposing standard string pieces with new compositions and little-known works of great composers.
The Concordia String Trio was formed in 1999 and has performed various recitals, educational programs and demonstrations throughout the United States. A recital program can be found here.
