Hackathon for undergrads is April 14-15

Starting Feb. 19, a new layer of security will be added to campus email accounts.

The Computer Science and Engineering Ambassadors and Computer Science Student Advisory Board are teaming up to host the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s first official undergraduate hackathon.

CornHacks is a weekend hackathon that will take place April 14 and 15 in Avery Hall, Room 347. Registration is open through April 7. Hacking is 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. April 14 and 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 15.

CornHacks will off the opportunity for undergraduate students to create a project for their resumes and portfolios, develop new skills, gain learning experiences, meet other students and network with members of the industry who will be sponsoring and judging the event.

CornHacks is free for all Nebraska students who wish participate including all meals for the weekend. Free T-shirts and more than $3,000 worth of prizes will be given away at the event.
