Andrea Dinkelman, a science librarian at UNL, will host a seminar discussing databases to help people figure out the h-index from 3 to 4 p.m. Sept. 17 in Love Library South, Room 221. The seminar is free.
The seminar will also cover:
Determining the h-index based on Web of Science, Scopus and/or Google Scholar
Finding impact factors and other journal metrics to demonstrate journal quality
Introduction to altmetrics and non-traditional scholarly impact measure
Models for articulating research impact beyond impact factors and grant dollars
