“Do More Good,” a conference designed to unite business leaders for social change, is May 15-17 at Nebraska Innovation Campus.

Organized by Firespring, which is led by University of Nebraska–Lincoln alumnus Jay Wilkinson, the conference will feature speakers from around the country and empower attendees to help their organizations embrace social enterprise. Featured speakers include:

  • Preeta Bansal, lawyer and MIT lecturer;
  • Jay Coen Gilbert, co-founder of B Lab; and
  • Rand Stagen, co-founder of Conscious Capitalism.

Conference participants will learn how to align purpose and profit, as well as the how to integrate tools to discover their organization’s “why.”

Wilkinson, CEO of Firespring, said the event reflects his company’s commitment to nonprofits since its founding in 2001.

“Firespring is deeply devoted to creating positive impact in our community,” Wilkinson said. “The Do More Good Conference follows suit and will bring corporate leaders to the Heartland to learn how putting people before profits is a sustainable business model.”
