A retirement celebration for Lori Drake, finance coordinator with the Big Red Business Center, is 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 12 in the Nebraska Union Platte River Room (Room 148). Drake is retiring after working more than 35 years in multiple finance positions with the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
Drake started working at the university in 1990, working her way up from an accounts clerk to her current role.
Post-retirement, Drake said she's looking forward to decluttering her house, visiting friends and relatives across the United States and being able to spend more time with her two grandchildren.
