Faculty and staff are reminded to observe university policies for international travel.
The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s International Travel Registry for Professionals policy was implemented Jan. 1, 2016, and its purpose is to safeguard our professionals.
The policy outlines two steps that must be completed before each foreign trip. Those steps are:
Completion of an electronic travel authorization form, either through the Firefly Employee Self Service or SAP.
Arrange all international transportation be paid with university-administered funds through the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s travel services provider, Travel and Transport. This step makes travel details accessible in the event of an emergency.
Compliance with the policy is required for travel expenditures to be reimbursed by the university. For more information, click here.
