A screening of the new film “Food Evolution” is 6:30 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center.
“Food Evolution,” from Academy Award-nominated director Scott Hamilton Kennedy and narrated by Neil deGrasse Tyson, examines the science and controversy surrounding genetically modified organisms and food.
The film screening will be followed by a discussion panel representing a diverse group of stakeholders, from researchers to food industry to conventional and organic farmers.
