This photo, “Green Ductwork, Eden Project,” is among images featured in Dana Fritz's new book.
Dana Fritz, professor of art, will deliver a lecture about and sign copies of her new book, “Terraria Gigantica: The World Under Glass,” at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 2 at Sheldon Museum of Art.
The event is free and open to the public.
Fritz’s book uses photographs to explore the world’s largest enclosed landscapes. The idea took root after Fritz visited several Victorian glasshouse conservatories, including the Kew Gardens in England.
The Lied Jungle and Desert Dome, both at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo, are included in the book.
