Genealogy Over Lunch, a University Libraries’ group designed to help individuals explore and organize family trees, will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 16 in Love Library South, Room 318.
This meeting will allow participants to share strategies of successful detective work in tracking down a difficult-to-find ancestor. Joan Barnes, associate professor of practice with University Libraries, will talk about how she used DNA matching and a newspaper announcement to advance her genealogy search.
The group is open to all faculty, staff and students. Participants are encouraged to bring a lunch.
