Genealogy over Lunch will feature a review from Eva Bachman, the director of graduate student support and associate registrar, on the advantages and cautions of family history researchers using county histories at 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 21 on Zoom.
County histories can include information about the establishment of the county, including the history of its development and biographical sketches of many of the citizens of that county.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own discoveries from these sources to the session and can register online to join the discussion.
Genealogy over Lunch is a University Libraries’ group designed to help individuals explore and organize family history. All students, faculty, emeriti, and staff are welcome.
