University Libraries will host its next Genealogy Over Lunch session, “Using HathiTrust and Worldcat in Your Research,” at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 15 in Love Library South, Room 318. The talk is free and open to the public.
HathiTrust is a collaborative repository of digital content from research libraries around the globe. WorldCat is a catalog that itemizes collections of 72,000 libraries in 170 countries and territories.
Genealogy Over Lunch is designed for individuals interested in exploring and organizing their family history. Attendees will learn more about HathiTrust digital library and WorldCat databases, both free tools available through University Libraries that can help researchers find more materials related to family history.
Participants are encouraged to bring a lunch. For more information about the talk, contact Tom McFarland at lmcfarland1@unl.edu or 402-472-9463.
