Dr. Jeffrey P. Gold, president of the University of Nebraska system, will deliver the 2025 State of the University address at noon Sept. 4 in the Nebraska State Capitol, second-floor rotunda.
The address marks Gold’s first anniversary as president of the university system. Building on his “Odyssey to Extraordinary” vision, Gold will define what “extraordinary” means for the university and share priorities for achieving it. The talk will reflect on the university’s current standing; celebrate recent accomplishments in research, teaching, engagement and service; and outline steps to position the NU system for long-term success.
