Greek Street Trick-or-Treat is Oct. 29

Members of the fraternity and sorority community at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln annually host a trick or treat event for children.

The university will host a public Trick-or-Treat event in the Nebraska Union and at Greek chapter houses on 16th and R streets on Oct. 29.

Fraternities and sororities at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln will host Greek Street Trick-or-Treat from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 29. The event will include Greek chapter houses on 16th and R streets as well as candy booths in the Nebraska Union.

The event is free and open to the public. Participants should start in the Nebraska Union to pick up a map of participating chapters. Those Greek houses will also have lawn signs identifying them as a stop in the event.

Students, faculty, staff and the public are encouraged to bring children in costumes to participate in this fun, safe Halloween celebration.
