Haar presents ‘Emergence’ is April 21


Ora Paul Haar will be presenting a faculty performance in the Westbrook Music Building April 21.

Ora Paul Haar, associate professor of saxophone in the Glenn Korff School of Music, will present the faculty recital "Emergence" at 7:30 p.m. April 21 in Westbrook Music Building, Room 119.

The recital is free and open to the public and will be streamed online. Visit this website on the day of the event for the link.

Haar will be joined by Christi Zuniga, piano.

The program includes Jacob Ibert’s “Concertino da Camara,” Erwin Dressel’s “Partita,” Alexander Glazounov’s “Concerto for Eb Alto Saxophone and Piano” and Allen Johnson’s “Nightsong.”

Haar is recognized as one of the most versatile saxophonists today, contributing to numerous projects in both the jazz and classical genres. He has performed throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and South America. For more information on Haar, visit his directory page.
