The University of Nebraska–Lincoln's HealthierU program is launching the 5 to Thrive challenge, July 14 through Aug. 10.
During the challenge, university employees will choose from one of five movement options to perform for a minimum of 15 minutes each day during the challenge period. These movement options are:
- 15 minutes of walking/jogging/running
- 15 minutes of body weight exercising circuits
- 15 minutes of stretching
- 15 minutes of swimming
- 15 minutes of intentional moderate movement
Employees will record their daily movement on their Stridekick profile. The goal is to complete this habit each day throughout the course of the four-week challenge. Learn more about this challenge and register online.
