Heng-Moss featured in new ‘Shaping the Future’ video

Nebraska’s Tiffany Heng-Moss, dean of the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, and Jeffrey P. Gold, president of the NU system, discuss the power of partnerships in the most recent episode of "Shaping the Future."

In the newest episode of "Shaping the Future," Dr. Jeffrey P. Gold, president of the University of Nebraska system, interviewed Tiffany Heng-Moss, dean of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.

The discussion explored how the college is training Nebraska’s next generation of ag leaders, helping grow Nebraska’s economy and developing partnerships with K-12 schools statewide. Heng-Moss, a Husker alumna, also credits experiential learning opportunities and mentorships during her time as a UNL student for igniting her passion for agricultural sciences.

“UNL faculty were incredibly important to my journey and professional development, and I am grateful to those who invested in me and took a chance on a student from small town Nebraska,” Heng-Moss said. “When I reflect upon my journey, I could not have selected a more meaningful and impactful career. It allows me to combine my passions for ag, research and education.”

New episodes of “Shaping the Future” are released monthly and feature conversations with faculty, staff, students and partners from across the NU system and state of Nebraska.
