University Housing opened the 2021–22 housing contract period for current University of Nebraska–Lincoln students at 8 a.m. Dec. 1. Both the online room selection and roommate finder functions opened at the same time.
Students can choose among the university’s 14 residence halls – 12 on City Campus and two on East Campus — including traditional single-rooms; four-bedroom suite-style units; and two- and four-bedroom apartments. Virtual tours of each room style are online.
While there are no deadlines for submitting a housing contract, space is limited and completed contracts and room selections are processed on a first-come-first-served basis. The roommate finder closes March 31 and the online room selection process closes July 5.
Flexible meal plans for 2021–22 and dining dollars can also be added during the housing contract sign-up. Seven meal plan options will be available.
To sign and complete their housing contract, students should access the housing portal in MyRed.
