Housing to host International Education Week festival

University of Nebraska–Lincoln students from the more than 150 countries marched in the 2016 homecoming parade carrying their country's flags.

As part of International Education Week, University Housing is hosting an Intercultural Education Festival, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 18 in the University Suites Multipurpose Room.

Representatives from China, India, Japan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Oman, Russia, Rwanda, Sudan, Uganda, United States and Vietnam will participate. Each booth will have different activities to give information about school in each country. Snacks will be provided.

International Education Week, Nov. 14-18, celebrates the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. To learn more about International Education Week, click here.

The university will host about 25 International Education Week events on campus. Many of these events are fun, free and provide food.
