Human Resources offers virtual professional development sessions

City Campus

Virtual professional development sessions will be offered on Sept. 20 to support employees who will be working remotely.

In conjunction with the instructional continuity day due to the Husker football game against the University of Illinois, Human Resources will offer professional development activities that can be completed remotely.

“We have employees whose work tasks don’t translate well to remote and employees who consistently request more virtual professional development opportunities. We hope to serve both groups with these sessions,” said Celeste Spier, director of organizational development.

Interested participants can read full descriptions and register online for these sessions:

Additional on-demand courses can also be found on Bridge. Search by keyword or browse by category in the Learning Library. Examples include Tips for Dealing with Conflict, Chaos, and Change; How to Have Engaging & Productive Conversations; and Emotional Intelligence.

Sessions will be presented by the Organizational Development and Training and University Libraries. Questions or feedback can be directed to Celeste Spier at cspier2@unl.edu.
