As part of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, the Husker Pantry is hosting an annual food drive Nov. 18-24. The drive aims is to collect 1,500 items to replenish inventory for students.
The on-campus pantry is located in the University Health Center, Room 123.
Four simple ways students, faculty, staff and the public can contribute include:
Choose from nearly 100 items on the Pantry’s Wishlist at Amazon Marketplace. Add items to an online cart and checkout in only a few minutes. Purchases are delivered directly to Husker Pantry.
Drop off locally-purchased items at one of 18 collection bins located across campus. Review a list of donation items and the conveniently-located bins.
Deliver locally-purchased items in person at Husker Pantry. The campus program will hold an open house from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Nov. 19 at the University Health Center, Room 123.
Participate in the pantry’s fundraiser from 5-9 p.m. Nov. 23 at Chipotle Mexican Grill or the RHA Turkey Trot 5K at 8 a.m. Nov.24.
