IANR Writing Fellows Program taking applications


The Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources' Writing Fellows Program is accepting applications. An informational session is 11 a.m. Sept. 3 in Plant Sciences Hall, Room 385.

The program offers an opportunity for training and extensive engagement in scientific writing. College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources graduate students are invited to apply to the two-year program, where students will learn how to become highly skilled and competitive writers, educators and mentors by the time they exit an academic program. 

Benefits include a $3,300 stipend, leadership and professional development in scientific writing and education, a collaborative environment, and increased productivity and experience providing skilled professional peer reviews.

Applicants must be graduate students in a department/unit within the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources with a minimum of two full academic years remaining in an academic program.
