As schools throughout the world prepare to celebrate International Education Week from Nov. 15-22, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will showcase the contributions of international students, scholars and partnerships that equip our community to navigate and shape an increasingly interconnected world.
If your unit or organization is interested in hosting an event or partnering with an existing activity, more information, including a submission form to share your event details, can be found here.
UNL departments, student organizations and community groups are encouraged to think creatively about how they can contribute to the week's celebrations through lectures, roundtable conversations, cultural showcases, film screenings or interactive workshops. By hosting or supporting an event, campus partners will elevate the conversation on global issues, create intercultural connections and broaden the educational experience for UNL students.
International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to promote efforts that prepare Americans for a global environment and to attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.
