The East Campus Dining Center's Summer Grill Out series continues Aug. 1 with a focus on Japanese barbecue. The event is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Nebraska East Union. It is open to the campus community and public. Cost is at regular Dining Services pricing.
The menu includes beef short ribs with a mustard glaze; Yakitori (Japanese chicken kabobs); Japanese barbecue sauce; edamame; seafood salad; Yaki (stir-fried) udon noodles; and rice seasoned with gomashio furikake.
Offered each summer, the Dining Services series explores regional and culturally-inspired barbecues each week. The grill outs are held outside whenever possible.
