Students perform in the Temple Building as part of a Dec. 3 rehearsal for the Student Dance Project.
The annual performance is a program or original work by student choreographers in the Glenn Korff School of Music's dance program. The performance, which was Dec. 3 and 4, featured work by 16 choreographers from a dance composition course led by Susan Ourada, associate professor of dance. The majority of the recital featured modern dance, but students drew from backgrounds in contemporary, jazz, street dance styles and ballet to create the final pieces.
The program also featured work by graduate and undergraduate student lighting designers.
