Staring Charlie Plummer, “Lean on Pete” tells the story of 15-year-old Charley Thompson as he arrives in Portland, Oregon, with his father, Ray.
Both are eager for a fresh start after a series of difficulties. While Ray descends into personal turmoil, Charley finds acceptance and camaraderie at a local racetrack, caring for an aging quarter horse named Lean on Pete.
