Library displays collection of Pulitzer Prize winners


Adele Coryell Hall Learning Commons

“Pulitzer Prize Winners,” a new features titles collection, is on display through the end of the semester in the Adele Coryell Hall Learning Commons.

The collection features mostly fiction-winning books from 1918 to today. The display also includes a selection of poetry winners, a few books from other award categories (drama, journalism and photography), and publications on the general history of the Pulitzer Prize.

Kevin McMullen, graduate student, and Liz Lorang, associate professor of libraries, curated the collection. McMullen is a doctoral student specializing in 19th-century American literature, with a particular focus on Walt Whitman and literary responses to the Fugitive Slave Law of 1850. He is also pursuing a specialization in digital humanities.
