A Tennessee Williams classic, timeless holiday musical and popular comedian make up the Lied Center for Performing Arts’ November lineup. The Broadway hit “The Phantom of the Opera” also ends its 12-day run.

All performances are on the Lied’s main stage unless otherwise noted.
November’s shows:
“The Phantom of the Opera,” Nov. 1, 7:30 p.m.; Nov. 2, 2 and 7:30 p.m.; Nov. 3, 1:30 and 7 p.m. — Cameron Mackintosh’s reimagining of the popular Andrew Lloyd Webber musical is performed by a cast and orchestra of 52, making it one of the largest productions on tour in North America. The show retains the beloved story and thrilling score of the original but boasts new special effects, scenic and lighting designs, staging and choreography.
“The Glass Menagerie,” Nov. 6-8, 7:30 p.m.; Nov. 9, 2 and 7:30 p.m.; Nov. 10, 2 p.m.; Nov. 12-15, 7:30 p.m.; Nov. 17, 2 p.m., Temple Building — The Nebraska Repertory Theater presents Tennessee Williams’ 1944 classic. This “memory play” follows the fragile Wingfield family: Tom, an aspiring poet; his painfully shy sister Laura; and their mother, Amanda, a faded Southern belle.
“Irving Berlin’s White Christmas,” Nov. 11-13, 7:30 p.m. — Adapted from the 1954 movie of the same name, this timeless tale of joy and goodwill features classic Berlin songs, glorious dancing and lots of snow.
- Brian Regan, Nov. 18, 7:30 p.m. — Vanity Fair has called Regan “the funniest stand-up alive,” and Entertainment Weekly has referred to him as “your favorite comedian’s favorite comedian.” He is back by popular demand after a sold-out Lied performance in 2016.
