A Grammy Award-winning musician, Thile was named host of “Live from Here” (formerly “A Prairie Home Companion”) in 2016. The show, a Saturday staple for public radio audiences across the country, is a unique blend of folk and traditional music, comedy and tongue-in-cheek radio drama. The two-hour Oct. 27 program will feature the “Song of the Week,” written especially for the evening, and “Out in America” thoughts from comedian correspondent Tom Papa.

As a founding member and leader of the rock band Wilco, Tweedy is one of contemporary American music’s most accomplished songwriters, musicians and performers. He has written original songs for 10 of the band’s albums.

Barry is a comedian, actor and author. He has released three stand-up specials and appeared on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “Conan” and “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”

“Live from Here” airs on NET Radio at 5 p.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m. on Sundays. It can be heard on NET’s HD-2 radio channel at the same times. The show is produced by American Public Media.
