Video: Kathleen Lodl discusses Carnegie classification with RFD-TV
The Carnegie Foundation recognized the University of Nebraska–Lincoln for excellence in community engagement, citing its wide-ranging outreach efforts across the state.
For public, land-grant universities, outreach and engagement are extremely important activities, and Nebraska is now among nearly 400 U.S. universities that have received a community engagement classification from the foundation.
Kathleen Lodl, associate dean of Nebraska Extension, joined RFD-TV to discuss the classification, and the many ways the university works to help all of Nebraska.
