Love Data Week starts Feb. 13

Celebrate International Love Data Week with NU Libraries.

Love Data Week at University of Nebraska–Lincoln Libraries will be Feb. 13-17.

Activities and celebrations about data are planned. The schedule is as follows:

  • Feb. 14, 2:30-4 p.m., via Zoom — Open Mic event: The week will start off with flash talks about the FAIR (Findable Accessible Interoperable Reusable) Data Principles, then open the floor to hear about how people love data. Participants from all Nebraska University campuses are invited to join. If unable to join, the discussion will be recorded and available later. Pre-registration is required.

This event is hosted by the Research Data Services group of the University of Nebraska Consortium of Libraries.

  • Feb 15, 1:30-3 p.m., Dinsdale Learning Commons, room 235 — Data Sharing and Management Plan workshop: The Libraries Research Data Team (Scout Calvert and Leslie Delserone) is holding workshops to actively assist faculty with data management plans. In a small group setting (maximum eight attendees), librarians and researchers will write together to draft or complete a plan in 60-90 minutes. Plan to bring a description of the data you are collecting or managing. Register here.
