This year marks the 32nd anniversary of the Christmas tour and release of “Mannheim Steamroller Christmas,” an album that revolutionized holiday music.
Grammy Award winner Chip Davis will direct and co-produce tour performances with MagicSpace Entertainment. The show features Mannheim Steamroller Christmas classics and compositions from the groundbreaking “Fresh Aire” series, along with dazzling multimedia effects.
In addition to being a holiday tradition for many families, the Christmas tour regularly attracts repeat attendance from multi-generational guests and is one of the longest-running tours in the music industry. This year’s tour includes many of the performances from the PBS special “Mannheim Steamroller 30/40 Live.”
Mannheim Steamroller has sold more than 40 million albums, 28 million in the Christmas genre. With 19 gold, eight multi-platinum and four platinum records, Davis is among an elite group of artists that includes U2, Jay-Z and The Beach Boys.
The performance is supported by Patron Friend Sponsors Drs. David and Marilyn Moore and Assurity Life Insurance Company.
