The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Mexican American Student Association is holding a series Chicano Awareness Week events through April 14.
The celebration culminates with the MASA banquet at 6 p.m. April 14 in the East Union’s Great Plains Room. The featured speaker is Maximo Anguiano, an activist and entrepreneur who is vice president of collegiate outreach at BeVisible Latinix. He is also chair of Teatro Audaz in San Antonio, Texas.

April 12 — Arts, Crafts and Study Night, 5 to 9 p.m., Nebraska Union, Georgian Suite
April 14 — 2018 MASA Banquet, 6 p.m., East Union, Great Plains Room
