Nine graduating Master of Fine Arts students from the School of Art, Art History and Design will present thesis exhibitions between April 2-20 in the Eisentrager•Howard Gallery in Richards Hall.
Each of the three exhibitions will be on display for one week. At 3:30 p.m. on April 6, 13 and 20, just prior to each closing reception, the featured artists of the week will present 20-minute public lectures, starting at 3:30 p.m. in the gallery.
Gallery hours for the MFA Thesis Exhibitions are weekdays, 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Admission to the gallery is free and open to the public.
The first Thesis Exhibition is April 2-6 and features the work of John-David Richardson, Phoebe Jan-McMahon and Kyle Nobles. A reception is 5 to 7 p.m. April 6.
The second exhibition runs April 9-13 and features the work of Rosana Ybarra, Emily Wiethorn and Wansoo Kim. A reception is 5 to 7 p.m. April 13.
The third and final exhibition is April 16-20 and features the work of Patrick Kingshill, Pecos Pryor and Zora Murff. A reception is 5 to 7 p.m. April 20.
