Martin Blaser
Martin Blaser, Director of the Human Microbiome Program at the New York School of Medicine, will be present a free and public lecture on his research at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 17 in the Beadle Center, room E103. The talk will also feature a signing of his book, “Missing Microbes: How the Overuse of Antibiotics Is Fueling Our Modern Plagues.”
Blaser has studied how bacteria affect human disease for over three decades and has published more than 400 articles since 2000. He has been featured in national newspapers and has appeared on The Today Show, NPR, CNN, and the BBC, among others. After the lecture, Blaser will sign copies of his book, with books available for purchase.
