The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Microbiology program will host the fifth annual Microbiology Research Symposium from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 5 in the Nebraska Union's Swanson Auditorium and Centennial Room. The event will feature relevant keynote speakers and give undergraduate microbiology students an opportunity to practice science communication.
Keynotes will be delivered between 3 and 4 p.m. in the Swanson Auditorium. Keynotes will be delivered by:
- Gemma Reguera, professor of microbiology, genetics and immunology, Michigan State University
- Lindsey Crawford, assistant professor of biochemistry, University of Nebraska–Lincoln
Keynotes will be followed by a research poster session in the Centennial Room featuring more than 35 posters from students.
